Batch 2019, Diploma Course in Tattoo Art

siddhesh gawde, Aliens school student
My turning point arrived when Sunny Sir guided mindset control...

Siddhesh was at a crossroads in his life - he got his degree in electronic engineering but had zero interest in pursuing that career. He always had a strong inclination towards art and it led to him being a Photoshop retoucher. However, he was still not having any job satisfaction. One fine day, he came across Aliens Tattoo’s Instagram and Facebook ads and seeing those ads sparked something within him. He instantly felt that being a tattoo artist might just be his true calling.

He enrolled for our Complete Course in Tattoo Art, which is 3 months, after some careful deliberation. He already had a base in sketching but wanted to replicate that same art onto skin. Siddhesh didn’t quit his day job while doing this course. He would work from 6am to 2pm then head to Aliens Tattoo Art School by 3pm and later, head home by 11pm! There was no luxury for rest days during that time but he kept persisting just to chase his dream. He managed to maintain his school and work balance every single day. Siddhesh's parents were also super supportive of his passion; his mother would wake up at 3am just so he could have healthy home cooked meals throughout his hectic schedule. His tattoo skills were so phenomenal that later that year, he landed a full-time job as a tattoo artist with Aliens Tattoo and has since travelled to many cities just for work.

Heartwork Tattoo Festival is India’s biggest tattoo convention and he was invited to compete in the neo-traditional category for the first time in 2019. He not only won in that category, but also placed 3rd in the J.A. Kohiyar category! He has also won 1st and 2nd place for two of his tattoos at Kula Convention, another reputed tattoo convention in India.

Siddhesh's journey proves that success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, loving what you are doing or learning to do!
