Fundamentals of drawing will focus on building a foundation in art to help you cope up with the advanced section of this course. This module will not only build your foundation in drawing and sketching, but also help you build the razor-sharp focus and patience which is required to become a successful Pro Tattoo artist.

Foundation in Tattoo Art

This module will introduce you to the world of tattoo art. The focus here is to firstly pass on the tattoo culture and help you understand how the tattoo industry operates. You will have hands-on experience working with various tattoo-making tools, and you will understand and learn the fundamental processes involved in tattooing.

Below are a few highlights of this module:

• Origin, History, & Culture of Tattooing.

• Introduction to Tattoo Art and its Equipment.

• Fundamentals of Tattooing.

• Medical grade Hygiene System Protocol developed by Aliens.

• Introduction to Tattoo Machines, Needles, Tattoo Stencils, Tattoo Station Set-up, etc.

• Getting started with Basic Tattoos on Synthetic & Real skin.

• Intense practice of Basic Drawing Elements to Strengthen Muscle-mind Coordination.

Advance Level of Tattoo Art

This module is the most important one and covers advanced tattoo techniques like shading, texturing, etc. Advanced tattoo styles like photo-realism, sculpture, watercolor, the animal & human portraits that make you a Pro Tattoo Artist are covered in this module. Students get to practice on synthetic as well as real skin and build their portfolios.

• Advanced level tattoo stencils & application on various body parts.

• Creating various textures such as beard, hair, fur, leather, etc.

• Introduction to Black & Grey Realism tattoos like sculptures, portraits, animals, etc.

• Introduction to watercolour tattoos.

• Making realism tattoos using different needles on synthetic skin and real skin.

Live Tattoo Demonstration

Observational Learning is one of the most effective ways of learning, and we try to make the most of it through live tattoo demonstration lectures. Mentors demonstrate various full-length tattoos during these live lectures and share their techniques & insights from their experiences. These live lectures are interactive, followed by a Q&A session.

Here are a few highlights of these lectures:

• Interactive Sessions - Witness the actual process of tattooing.

• Watch senior artists work on Basic, Intermediate and advanced level tattoos.

• Implement whatever you have learned from observation sessions in the daily practice sessions.

Grading System/Progress

We strive to make the most of observational learning, one of the most efficient learning methods, by including live tattoo demonstration lectures.

During these live lectures, mentors demonstrate a variety of full-length tattoos and discuss their processes and insights. These interactive live lectures are followed by a Q&A session.

Feedback

We give utmost importance to the Feedback sessions and make changes to improvise and make the learning experience better for our students. Mentors run anonymous feedback/survey forms regularly after every lecture. One-on-one feedback sessions are also conducted every month to understand the challenges faced by students.

• Feedback collected from students after every lecture.

• Students too are given feedback based on their progress & are guided further.

• If a particular student is facing challenges, mentors personally look into their development.
