Aliens Tattoo Internship Program
Our tattoo internship programme is an exclusive paid internship opportunity that is offered to the top performing 10% students of Aliens Tattoo Art School based on their holistic progress.
This is a perfect chance for our students to learn how to manage and work in an established studio. In addition, it gives them a broad understanding of the trade, enabling them to take on any role within the industry. If you are not an Aliens' student & are wondering how to get a tattoo internship, you can get in touch with us and apply for a tattoo artist internship.
Internship selection process
Career Growth at Aliens
A presentation is conducted for the students to help them get a look at what it's like working with us.
Applying for the Internship
Interested students can then apply along with their portfolios to determine their skill level.
Interview with the Dean & HR
The shortlisted students then have an Interview with HR & the Dean of the school, Allan Gois.
Training with Mentors & Artists
The internship includes a month training under the mentors, & interns are deployed to any of our franchises for five months
What are the criteria for getting selected for the internship program?
All the students are eligible to apply for the internship program.
What is the process of getting hired?
The process begins with the student applying for the internship.
Then the student's portfolio is checked & the mentor's feedback is taken. (This includes the performance of the student throughout the course, their work, behavior, willingness to learn & improve)
Once the screening process is done, a 2-round interview is conducted, first with the mentors & then with the HR team.
After this, the students are selected for the internship program at Aliens.
What happens during the internship?
Our internship program includes the student's on-ground training, dealing with real clients, managing the business from consultation to the complete tattoo process.
How is the Aliens internship different from an apprenticeship?
Aliens, as an organisation, does not support apprenticeship programs as it may involve students doing tasks that are irrelevant to their career growth. Therefore, our internship program strictly focuses on training the students and enabling their growth as tattoo artists.
What after the internship finishes?
Since our internship includes the comprehensive training & development of the student as an artist, there is a high chance of them getting selected at Aliens. And if they decide to work with us, they can be placed at any of our studios across India. This way they'll be able to work & travel at the same time.
Will I get paid for my work during the internship?
Yes. All the interns get a fixed stipend for the duration of their internship.
