Updated: Jan 9, 2020
Day 1 at India's Largest Tattoo Festival
The winter is up and chilling in Delhi, and today, on 6th December 2019, Aliens are ready to rock Day one at Heartwork Tattoo Festival (HTF). We’re here with booming enthusiasm and we’re up for the best. With Sunny Sir and Allan collaborating on a masterpiece, we have many of our students making small and large tattoos as they compete for various categories.
We’ve chosen a roster of our students who went through a few rounds of screening before being selected for representing us at HTF. At Aliens Tattoo School, we motivate each student to develop and spread their wings in the world of tattoos. Heartwork is a great opportunity for them to showcase their skills and take their tattoo career a notch above. Participating in HTF is a dream for many, and we’re glad that our students are making us proud each moment.
SAIYYAM & ANVESH - STUDENTS OF ALIENS WINNING BACK-TO-BACK AWARDS IN ALL TATTOO CONVENTIONS
It’s was just the first day, and we were booming with pride already. Our artists Anvesh and Saiyyam had started bagging prizes already boggling everybody's mind!
Anvesh started his career from Aliens Tattoo Art School, and boy, has he not made us proud? He bagged the first prize in the Small Black & Grey tattoo category.
He was a determined person ever since he enrolled at Aliens Tattoo School, and he was glued with one thought, ‘I want to be a great tattoo artist!’.
Anvesh is extremely dedicated when it comes to tattoo art, all he needed was the right guidance and support. So Team Aliens gave their best at every step to do so. It is now seen in his work, the sheer focus and vibe that he creates while inking. The glorious award he won on Day One at Heartwork Tattoo Festival, where biggest artists around the world
perform, really proves it.
Saiyyam Patel - Student of Aliens Tattoo School with Founder & Mentor Sunny Bhanushali
Saiyyam, a Mumbai boy, who chose Art over any other thing has proven that the sky is the limit. He owned a tattoo studio prior to his training at Aliens but wasn't satisfied at all. But after his 6 months of training at Aliens Tattoo School, his work changed drastically.
His love for art drove him to Aliens Tattoo School and his efforts have taken him to newer heights today.
He was really keen on polishing his skills and being the best, and after developing under Aliens, he’s grown into something that his trophies are proof of! Yes, that's right. Yet again!
Saiyyam bagged the first prize in the Best Color Tattoo category at India's Biggest Tattoo Festival. His back-to-back victory in a span of 3 months is just remarkable.
Tattoo by Saiyyam Patel at Heartwork Tattoo Festival - Winner of Best Comic Character Tattoo
It's only been a year since he finished his course from Aliens Tattoo School and he already owns a dazzling tattoo studio and a shelf full of glory.
The proud moments of Heartwork Tattoo Festival on Day One were summed up by these victories while the masterpiece by Sunny and Allan is still going on – the full-back piece includes portraits of Nikola Tesla and Salvador Dali with an Alien Twist.
Siddhesh Gawde bagged a special place by winning the Dr. J.A. Kohiyar Memorial Award and participation at a Tattoo Convention in Vietnam.
Siddhesh's hard work and passion for tattoo art have clearly shown results with the vibrant array of awards. His constant endeavors towards brilliance always bring us pride and glory!
Pratik Patkar bagged the Dr. J. A Kohiyar Memorial Award at Heartwork Tattoo Festival.
Pratik's talent has bagged him a chance to represent India in Vietnam. His tattoos are unique and creative
and it is quite evident that his tattoos are fetching the accolades they deserve.
Tennis Ramteke bagged the Dr. J.A Kohiyar Memorial Award and he's the third Alien to win this at Heartwork, making us immensely proud.
The Grand Finale
Delhi has been all about tattoos the past few days with the Heartwork Tattoo Festival spreading some great vibes all over. The creative spark at the Aliens Hub was bustling with the grinding of tattoo machines and some incredible inking. Our students, alongside our Master – Sunny Bhanushali and Senior Tattoo Artist Allan Gois, were onto some heavy inking. Day 2 was all about prepping for the finale and creating the best of conversations, of course, tattoos were the centre of it all.
Sunny and Allan collaborated on a full-back tattoo that had portraits of Nikola Tesla and Salvador Dali with an Alien twist to it. A large tattoo and intricate too demanded a lot of focus and attention. The final outcome of their efforts was showcased at the end of Day 3, and we eagerly awaited the results.
The concept behind the tattoo design is complex. It embodies a new generation of visualizers and visionaries – the amalgamation of Tesla and Dali – where science and art converge our imaginations into reality. The awe-striking full-back tattoo won the Best Collaboration! The thunderous applause that followed was a moment of honor and pride for us. Cheers to our Pros – Sunny Sir and Allan Gois.
On the other hand, Devendra Palav had been inking a unique realism arm-tattoo piece. He is one of our senior artists, and his art is utterly hypnotic.
Devendra has been a part of the Aliens Team since the beginning, and it’s safe to say that he’s the quirkiest on the team.
You might find him busy inking some cool designs or teaching digital art at our tattoo school. He bagged the first runner up in the realism category.
Our clan conquered ‘Best of the Show’ at Heartwork Tattoo Festival 2019. The team’s efforts and sheer dedication are just superb! All in all, a vibrant visit to Delhi, and an eventful HTF 2019!
What a fantastic closure to the year, and what an amazing and upbeat tattoo festival – Cheers to Heartwork Tattoo Festival, Delhi. We await more such festivals and some great tattoo pieces.
