The selection process for the Convention Sponsorship Program at Aliens Tattoo Art School is based on the observation of the progress of our students once they are full-time artists and set on their commercial journey. The results of their tattoos both fresh and after healing, their overall progress as an artist, and the initiative and efforts taken by them are all considered. The students who outperform in these areas are given the opportunity to participate and showcase their talent in tattoo conventions through our Convention Sponsorship Program.
This year for KULA Worldwide 2023, the following students represented us and bagged great awards in various tattoo categories:
Mridupaban Doley - Winner of Neo Traditional Category
Mridupaban Doley is an emerging tattoo artist in the world of tattooing. At just 24 years old, he has already made a name for himself in the industry with his stunning neo-traditional designs. With only 1 year of professional experience, he took home the top prize in the Neo Traditional category at the KULA Worldwide 2023 tattoo convention, proving that he has a bright future ahead. Mridupaban is originally from Assam and had no background in art before he joined Aliens Tattoo School in 2018 as a student. After completing his course, he returned to Assam and practiced tattooing there as a hobby. With his impressive portfolio and positive attitude, Aliens Tattoo decided to hire him. He is currently working at Aliens Tattoo Visakhapatnam as a full time tattoo artist and will be traveling across India in all our studios.
Sangharsh Rai - Winner of Best Realism Category
Sangharsh Rai is a young artist with a talent for realism. At 24 years old, he has already made a name for himself in the tattoo world with his incredible attention to detail and ability to bring his designs to life. With only 1 year of experience, he took home the top prize in the Best Realism category at the KULA Worldwide 2023 tattoo convention, and is definitely one to watch in the future. Sangharsh comes from Gangtok, Sikkim and has graduated from our Diploma Course in Tattoo Art's 2022 batch. He currently is a full time tattoo artist at Aliens Tattoo Goa.
Ronit Sood - Winner of Best Freehand Category
Ronit Sood, winner of the Best Freehand Category, originally from Chandigarh, age 21 with 2.5 years of experience in the tattoo industry and no background in art. Ronit was selected as an intern at Aliens Tattoo when he applied in 2021.
Sunny Ghandat - Winner of Best Emerging Artists' Category
Sunny Ghandat is an 18-year-old emerging artist in the world of tattooing. With only 6 months of experience, he has already proven his talents by winning the Emerging Artists category at the KULA Worldwide 2023 tattoo convention. His unique style and creativity set him apart from his peers, and we can't wait to see what he will accomplish in the future. Sunny is from Navi Mumbai who completed his Diploma in Tattoo Art just 6 months ago.
Sakshi Panwar - Winner of Best Mandala, Dotwork & Pattern Category
Sakshi Panwar is a young and talented tattoo artist who has been in the industry for 3 years. She has already established herself as a master of the line-art, dot-work and mandala styles, earning her the top prize in the Mandala & Dotwork category at the KULA Worldwide 2023 tattoo convention. Her unique style, attention to detail, and ability to create mesmerizing patterns, have made her stand out among her peers. She earned her reputation as one of the top emerging artists in the industry. Her work is not to be missed and we are excited to see what she will achieve in the future. Sakshi Panwar is just 22 years old from Rajasthan and joined us in 2019 as a student. Today, she is one of our senior artists and works full time at Aliens Tattoo Hyderabad.
Siddhesh Gawde - Winner of Best B&G Realism Healed Category
Siddhesh Gawde is a skilled and accomplished tattoo artist with 3 years of experience in the industry. His unique style and attention to detail have earned him recognition in the tattoo world, including the Winner & Runner Up award at the prestigious KULA Worldwide 2023 tattoo convention. His dedication and passion for his craft sets him apart from his peers and we are excited to see what he will achieve in the future. Siddhesh had joined one of the founding batches of Aliens Tattoo School in 2018-2019 and has been associated with Aliens Tattoo since then. Today, he is a lead artist at Aliens Tattoo Bangalore.
Eric Edward & Vishnu Narayanan - Winner of Best Collaboration Category
Eric Edward is a tattoo artist of exceptional skill and talent. He completed his course from Aliens Tattoo School in 2019, and has since gone on to establish his own studio, Pachakuth, in Kochi, Kerala. Under his leadership, Pachakuth has become a hub for high-quality tattoos, and has earned a reputation as one of the best studios in the region. Eric's unique style, characterized by his attention to detail and ability to bring designs to life, has earned him recognition in the industry. His recent win of the Best Collaboration category at the KULA Worldwide 2023 tattoo festival is a testament to his skill and dedication to his craft. Another student is Vishnu Narayanan, a highly talented and accomplished tattoo artist who completed his course from Aliens Tattoo School in 2019. He works alongside Eric Edward at Pachakuth, a studio that has become known for its high-quality tattoos and commitment to excellence. Vishnuhas quickly established himself as one of the top artists in the region. Together, he and Eric have won the Best Collaboration category at the KULA Worldwide 2023 tattoo festival.

Aliens Tattoo School was proud to have designed and set up a signature booth that truly reflected the studio design and experience of the brand. We also had the biggest line-up of artists at the entire convention. We had 15 students participating in various categories at the event, a diverse range of talents and styles to participate in. This was a testament to the quality of our students and our commitment to providing opportunities for them to gain recognition in the tattoo industry.
